RÉFUGIÉS BIENVENUE

Réfugiés Bienvenue is a civil non profit association founded in 2015 as a response to the growing problem of insufficient housing solutions for refugees in Paris. The organization was able to establish a network of locals willing to take refugees into their own homes on the principle of hospitality and housing for all. Since then, we have arranged over 150 housing arrangements with private host families, in mixed nationality housing rentals, and in tiny homes in volunteer host families' backyard. We have grown to 30 volunteers and 2 full time staff and started to offer social counseling to our beneficiaries. We have also spearheaded, along with our broad network of local partners, several events to provide space for meetings between refugees and the local community.
